人間が信じられるものばかりでできている都市で長く生活していると、神秘的なことについてほとんど忘れかけていたと気がつきました。初めて天川村の洞川を訪れた時、そこにはまだ信じられないものの気配が残っているように感じて、ああこれを神秘的と言うんだったなと目が覚めたようでした。

そこで、洞川に漂う「神秘」についてささやかな想像を巡らせてみました。この場所には、まるでいつでも夢のような予期せぬ物語を紡ぎ出すことを待っているかのように過去の気配が漂っています。もしかしたらこの地域に漂うどことなく神秘的な雰囲気とは、地域全体が覚えている忘れられない夢の気配なのかもしれません。

 

I realized that living for so long in a city made up of all the things we can believe in, I had almost forgotten about the mystical. When I first visited Dorogawa in Tenkawa Village, I felt that there was still a hint of the unbelievable, and it was like an awakening to realize that this was what I meant by mystical.

So, I began to have a small imagination about the “mystery” floating in the Dongcheon River. There is a hint of the past drifting in this place as if it is always waiting to weave a dreamy and unexpected tale. Perhaps the somehow mysterious atmosphere in this area is a sign of an unforgettable dream that the entire community remembers.
