栃木県足利市にある廃校になった旧大久保分校で行われた展覧会。

分校を卒業した様々な年代の卒業生にインタビューを行い、彼らが語る曖昧な記憶の中に残っている様々なモチーフを日時計として教室に配置したインスタレーションを行いました。タイトルとなっているコスモスの話も、インタビューから得たエピソードとなっています。学校の机にこのテキストを刻み、それを木版として印刷し、ポスターとして市内に貼られる。テキストそのものが、足利の人々に参加を即すインタラクティブアートとなります。

 

This exhibition was held at the former Okubo Branch School in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, which had been closed down.

The graduates of the branch school in various ages were interviewed, and various motifs that remained in their vague memories were placed in the classroom as a sundial in an installation. The story of the cosmos, which is the title of the exhibition, is also an episode obtained from the interviews. This text was engraved on school desks, printed as woodblocks, and put up as posters around the city. The text itself will become an interactive art form that will immediately invite the people of Ashikaga to participate.
